Favorite Thing #16 — 50 West

Maybe everyone already knows about this, but with the weather cooling off I just had to post 50 West as my favorite thing for the week. For those of you who don’t know about it, Fifty West Brewing Company has a great set up down on Wooster Pike. They have sand volleyball courts and a space that rotates for pickleball and cornhole (usually by reservation or for leagues). But the best part is that they have picnic tables in the sand. Bring a bucket of sand toys, grab a burger and a beer and enjoy a beautiful evening. This is our go to place when Austin and I are really wanting a date but have no childcare. The kids are happy playing in the sand and we can have delicious burgers and a beer and hang out. Last week my mom and I took the kids and it was so empty that I was able to throw a football with Michael in the sand while we waited for our food. It is always an enjoyable, refreshing time. Head on down before it gets too cold. And don’t forget those sand toys.
